Scriptures: Acts 9:36–43; Psalm 23; Revelation 7:9–17; John 10:22–30
Introduction: Why This Matters
Each of these passages shows how God meets people in their deepest needs—through healing, comfort, security, and belonging. From Peter raising Tabitha, to the promise of eternal shepherding in Revelation, to Jesus declaring “My sheep know My voice,” this Sunday centers on trust, compassion, and life-giving power.
1. Bible Reading: Acts 9:36–43
“Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, ‘Tabitha, get up.’ She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.”
Explanation For Teenagers
Tabitha was known for helping others—and when she died, the community mourned. But God wasn’t done with her story. Through Peter’s prayer, she was raised back to life.
This reminds us that God sees both our pain and our purpose—and He can bring life to what feels lost.
