Introduction: Why This Matters
Life can feel uncertain. Maybe you’re facing big decisions, dealing with unexpected changes, or wondering what the future holds. It’s easy to feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed when we don’t know what’s coming next.
But Jesus offers us something incredible—His peace. It’s not a peace that depends on everything going perfectly; it’s a deep sense of calm that comes from trusting Him, even when life feels out of control. Today, we’re going to explore what it means to find peace in uncertainty and how trusting Jesus makes all the difference.
1. Bible Reading: John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Explanation For Teenagers
Jesus promises a peace that is completely different from what the world offers. It’s not about having a perfect life; it’s about knowing He is with you no matter what.
This peace comes from trusting that God is in control, even when life feels chaotic or uncertain.
When you focus on Jesus instead of your worries, His peace can calm your heart and help you face whatever comes your way.

2. Bible Reading: Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Explanation For Teenagers
God’s peace doesn’t make sense to the world because it’s not based on circumstances—it’s based on His presence in your life.
Prayer is the key to experiencing this peace. When you bring your worries to God and thank Him for what He’s already done, He replaces your anxiety with His peace.
This peace guards your heart and mind, helping you to stay calm and focused even when things feel uncertain.
